Remote control for an Arduino or other micro controllers with the Adafruit Bluefruit LE breakout board attached. See http://www.adafruit.com/products/1697 for more details.

The remote control sends keys that are pressed using Bluetooth LE to your micro controller. Your code on the Arduino or other micro controller will then take action on these button presses on your iPhone, iPad. You can also send messages back to the remote control app which will get displayed as orange text on the app.

Optionally, you can query the app for a unique remote ID. With a little code, this information can be used to secure your device. Once the remote has a connection with your device, simply send "get_id" through the bluetooth connection and the app will respond back with string beginning with "ID_" followed by the remote id.

This app is for advanced users familiar with programming an Arduino and other microcontrollers. However, once the device is developed and tested, users of that device can simply control with with this app.

You can use it to control robots, turn on lights, motors, and other devices thats controlled by an Arduino.
